3 months overdue…🤪…here goes the 11-month update (say what?!?). The summer was nothing short of time spent with family, friends, and travels across Europe: 🇺🇸 flew back over to USA to celebrate a cousin’s wedding and America’s birthday in July! 🎇 📃💖🪩 saw Taylor Swift in Amsterdam with an opening act from Paramore and then Pink/the Script the following week (throwback jams and reliving my childhood)🐉 🏰 then in mid-July I spent a long weekend in Slovenia and did a food tour, along with a trip to go see Lake Bled/Bled Island + Bled Castle (don’t forget the Bled Cream Cake 😋) and Predjama Castle + Postojna Cave 💪🏻 Hit 100 classes with F45 Amsterdam!!🇬🇧 Travelled to London twice in August☺️1st was a work trip and visited Fortnum & Mason, visited a cute coffee and flower shop (Mozart Concierge), and saw a Princess Diana photo exhibit 🥹 Then a spur of the moment booked a trip the next week to see Taylor Swift’s last show of her European tour at Wembley Stadium and saw the TS exhibit at the V&A museum > unbeknownst to me that it was my 9th anniversary with KPMG 💙🛥️ Celebrated the end of summer with a canal cruise with 57 fellow F45ers and sang my heart out with karaoke afterwards (Amsterdam skies were out of this world!)🇳🇱 surprised Danielle Atkinson Johnson, CPA and welcomed her, Brandon, and Chicken back to the Netherlands!🇫🇷 rounding it out with a work trip to Paris, which I took a personal day to see the morning/afternoon sessions of Paralympic Swimming 🏊♀️ loved getting to visit Paris again for the views and wonderful hospitality of work colleagues

Quite literally jumped my way through May and participated in the Spartan Race in Zandvoort (climbing 20 obstacles on the beach 😎!)…had participated in Bingo at my gym and won a ticket for the race (+ celebrated F45 AMS’s 6th birthday 🥳). Had a blast meeting other F45 members from my gym and from F45 Brussels, all while jumping obstacles and running on the beach 🏖️ as I reflect on my time so far in the Netherlands, as it’s been 8 months to the day, I’ve enjoyed working with my teams here, loved travelling and getting to see more of Europe and experiencing different cultures, and gotten comfortable being uncomfortable in a whole other country figuring out life’s adventures! ✈️ 🇳🇱 and yes I do love my bike! Getting to ride it to the gym early in the mornings along the canals can be so peaceful ☺️

Come join me in making waves to fight cancer at the Charlotte SAA swim in October! This is my eighth year participating in the event and my goal is to raise $1000. I always look forward to hearing about the impacts made in our local community at the Levine’s Children hospital where proceeds are given to help fund leukemia research ♥️ sadly my grandfather passed away 20 years ago from a form of blood cancer, but we can all have hope for a better tomorrow in the fight against cancer! May is Mental Health Awareness month! After moving my life to Europe, times can be hard and overwhelming adjusting to so many new things. I was happy to find a gym and get back into a routine in a team training style Bootcamp (thanks F45!). Looking forward this year to creating opportunities for my teams to connect as a Team of Choice, as well as taking care of myself working out and travelling around Europe experiencing new cultures.Great article on how we can build connections at work and support everyone’s mental health!https://lnkd.in/emxQjmAN

Travelling Amsterdam with my best buds 🌷 7-month update! Mom came to visit and had a blast touring around my own city, way to start off the grand tour on Koningsdag (King’s Day) 🇳🇱🍊through a sea of orange and parties across the city. Then we ventured on a tour of Keukenhof Gardens and @tulipexperienceamsterdam for the tulips, canal cruise with @captainjackamsterdam , short trip to Brussels to do a chocolate making shop 🍫 and bike tour 🚲, then the @heinekenexperience, tour of @museumrembrandthuis , and brews at @brouwerijtij 🍻 amazed by history of Tulips in the Netherlands (check out Tulip Mania!), saw a view of 7 canals at once in an underpass along the canal cruise, made delicious pralines in Brussels and biked around the city, saw the infamous @mannekenpisofficial , and rounded the week with a delicious Heineken tour (Lekker Hè?!), tour of Rembrandt’s old house and studio, and some brews at an old windmill in central Amsterdam.

Had a great time with the ITA engagement team last week at this virtual reality event in Amsterdam! We had approximately 20 people that were able to get together and kickoff the 2024 audit 🇳🇱☺️ looking forward to more team bonding events this year and making it a team of choice! #bettertogether
